It dates from the late-Victorian era, assayed in Birmingham in 1892. It has a scrolled leaf engraving throughout. The engraving is still crisp, the buckle and applied straps are in excellent sharp condition.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e\u003cbr\u003eIt would have originally been given as a commitment ring as the literal meaning is “You are bound to me”.
