Will I get expert customer service?
Yes! Nick, the owner, has nearly fifty years of experience of being in the trade and dealing in antique jewellery. He has a vast knowledge of antique jewellery and is always happy to help.
Our team of friendly and knowledgeable staff have over one hundred years of combined experience making us local experts. We have built up a stellar reputation for our expertise and our staff will do all they can to make your experience as easy and enjoyable as possible.
Why antique jewellery?
We believe that antique jewellery has an enduring charm and distinction that modern equivalents simply cannot match (don't get us started!).
Antique jewellery is also an investment rather than an expense, with immediate advantages over other ways of investing for the future. It is cheaper to buy and sell through a dealer than an auction house with their spiralling commissions. A dealer's knowledge, experience and passion add value to a purchase which will give life long pleasure.
Where do you find your jewellery?
We buy directly from the public and solicitors, rather than from trade or auctions, which allows our prices to be very competitive and we prefer the quick turnaround low profit rather than the long-term high-profit business model.
What conditions is the jewellery in?
We individually handpick only the finest items for their quality and value by our very experienced team.
All our items are in excellent condition considering their age and are thoroughly checked and professionally cleaned by our comprehensive workshop before being sold. Most of our items are antique and vintage which will commensurate with age and can be worn daily (with respect).
We will mention in the description when an item is not in excellent condition.
Please contact us if you wish to see more images or videos of any items, or view the item in person at our shop
