A Pretty Example of a Sought-After Antique 9ct Rose Gold Late Victorian Chain.
Very useful and wearable antique chain manufactured in 9ct gold, it has attractive facetted belcher links and is also composed of 3 spheres, each of which is also facetted to complement it and a strong `dog clip` fastening.
Presented in good original condition. Wear with confidence.
A highly useful article of antique jewellery, English, late Victorian /Early Edwardian Circa 1900.
The chain measures 23 inches in length. Equivalent to 58.4cm
The links are 3mm wide.
The balls measure 5.6mm in diameter.
Weight 11.7g.
Hallmarked 9ct gold on the dog clip, and the maker's initials `JM` and `9` (for 9ct gold), on a traditional tag soldered on one end of the chain.
Genuine nice old one, study under magnification shows the hand soldering and hand faceting, not machine manufactured.
Harder and harder to find good old ones like this to show off your antique pendant.
CONDITION: Overall very good, with some very light wear commensurate with age.
