Excellent Antique Edwardian 9ct Gold Curb Link Albert Watch Chain with T-Bar

Genuine antique curb link watch chain in excellent condition with its original dog clips and T-Bar; it is a good heavy gauge and is marked on every link 9.375 for 9ct gold. 
All marks are matching and original.
The chain is in good condition and is a good length at 15.75 inches, (Equivalent to 40.0cm) meaning it will go around most necks comfortably. 
Links measure 6.1mm in width.

It is termed as an “Albert” chain after Prince Albert, Queen Victoria’s husband, who popularised the wearing of chains across the waistcoat with seals and a watch attached to the dog clip terminal.

Weighs 47.4g; a very solid Albert, that uses an excellent gauge of gold. Would cost a small fortune to make today!

Each and every link UK hallmarked 9ct gold. Dated Birmingham 1926. 
The T-bar and swivels all match and are hallmarked 9ct gold. Sponsors mark 'A C Co' for The Albion Chain Co. 

No sign of any repairs.

We have only ultrasonically cleaned it, not polished it so that it retains its patina.

They really aren't out there in this tidy condition any more.

CONDITION: Overall very good, with some very light wear commensurate with age.

This is an antique item making it excellent value for your money when compared to a new equivalent. 
The links are in good condition and can be worn every day (with respect!). It has been professionally cleaned in our workshop.
