Antique 15ct Gold, Turquoise and Natural Split Pearl Bracelet. Original Fitted Box. Mappin & Webb

A very fine 15ct gold late Victorian bracelet.

Prettier, more interesting, and more decorative than we normally see.

Offered in very good order; it appears it has always been returned to its box after wear, the box a little rubbed here and there, but it has done its job protecting this lovely antique jewel.

All turquoise and pearls are original to the piece and are well matched in colour.

The hidden tongue-and-box clasp is in good order, and has had a gold safety chain fitted for added security.

15ct gold was only a legal standard of gold in British jewellery between 1854 and 1931. This means that any piece of 15ct antique gold jewellery from Britain dates somewhere between 1854 and 1931 and you have a genuine piece of antique or vintage jewellery.

Weight 12.7g

Length 7.25 inches

Link width at widest: 9.1 mm

Unmarked, tests 15ct gold.
