Beautiful Enamel Antique 9ct Enamelled Homing Pigeon Pendant / Fob. Assayed in Birmingham 1901.

Absolutely stunning and rare 9ct Gold and Enamel Homing Pigeon Pendant / Fob.

The craftsmanship on this piece is extraordinary. The pigeon on the front is beautifully executed in fine enamel, with incredible detail on 9ct rose gold. The surrounding shield detail is made from 9ct yellow gold with hand-engraved filigree. The piece is finished with an engraved ribbon detail and a beautifully chased pigeon motif.

Given as an award to W Jenkins in 1901 from the Homing Pigeon Society of Treorcky

Hallmarked 9ct Birmingham 1901.

Presented in totally mint condition and in its original fitted case, there cannot be another survivor like this in the world.
