Truly Excellent Antique Art Deco Blue Zircon and Old European Cut Diamond Platinum Three Stone Ring.
Not to be confused with lesser zircons, this is THE finest colour, its mesmerising.
A very striking large platinum ring that was made during the Art Deco period, circa 1920.
This genuine art deco period ring is crafted in platinum and features a very large/impressive round blue zircon in the centre with an old European cut diamond on either side.
The setting has an attractive scalloped design around the gallery.
Zircon is held securely in place by 6 claws whilst the diamonds are set to rub over settings.
Zircon is a fabulous electric blue colour, the best and most sought after.
The diamonds are clean, white and bright.
The diamonds have a millgrain border (From the French word mille for a thousand, and from grain as the same meaning in English, it refers to what appears to be thousands of tiny beads upon a metal precipice or edge).
The zircon measures 12.2mm in diameter and 6.2mm in depth, with a carat weight of over 11.25 carats.
Diamonds measure 3.8mm in diameter, with an estimated combined carat weight of 0.46 carats.
The head of the ring measures approx. 13.3mm in width and 8.7mm in depth.
The shank measures 1.7mm in width.

The ring weighs a quality 6.3g. This is a handmade quality ring, not a modern cast example, everything about it is quality.
The ring is currently size N (UK Scale) or 6 1/2 (US Size) but can be modified free of charge in our own comprehensive workshops.
It currently has beads in the shank, these can be removed if you wish. (help keep heavier rings central on the finger)

CONDITION: Overall very good, with some light wear commensurate with age.
