Antique Coral 9ct Rose Gold and Silver Ring Circa 1920/30
This lovely ring has a large hand carved oval coral depicting a floral design, the shoulders have a `millgrain` decoration. (From the French word mille for a thousand, and from grain as the same meaning in English, it refers to what appears to be thousands of tiny beads upon a metal precipice or edge).
The coral is mounted in silver whilst the shank is 9ct rose gold.
Its getting harder and harder to find untreated coral rings.
Coral measures 15.2mm x 10.3mm.
Head of ring measures 16.3mm tapering to 1.8mm shank.
Ring weighs 2.8g.
Stamped '9ct'.
The ring size is currently I (UK Scale) or 4 1/4 (US Size) but can be modified a couple of sizes free of charge in our own comprehensive workshops (please contact us with your size to confirm before purchasing please).
Overall a highly collectable and wearable piece of genuine antique jewellery, a timeless style which will never go out of fashion, a quality item that will last a lifetime.
CONDITION: Overall very good, with some light wear commensurate with age.
This is a antique item, making it excellent value for your money when compared to a new equivalent.
The settings are perfect condition and can be worn every day (with respect). It has been professionally cleaned in our workshop.
