Rare Antique Bloodstone Cat and Mouse 15ct Gold Watch Key / Fob.
Chain NOT Included.
Unmarked as they all are of this age, it is manufactured in solid 15ct gold, not a cased one.
Depicts a cat chasing a mouse or rat, and has chased and carved decoration to the shoulders and octagonal shield shaped bloodstone set into the base.
Original made to hang on the end of a gentleman's watch albert or chain , today collected in their own right, or worn as a pendant on a chain around the neck.
Weight is 5.0g
The bloodstone measures approximately 12.0mm x 11.4mm and is perfect, the body has a `pin prick` mark near the rats tail, apart from that, its survived in good order.
Measures approx. 23.8mm x 14.6mm x 13.3mm.
This is an antique item, making it excellent value for your money when compared to a new equivalent.
The settings are in good condition and can be worn (with respect!).
It has been ever so gently cleaned in our workshop by hand, not machine polished, so retains patina.
