Outstanding Quality Antique Old European Cut Diamond and Rose cut Diamond Victorian Carved 18ct Gold Ring.

This magnificent ring has 4 large old European cut diamonds positioned across the head of the ring, tapering in size from the centre. There are 6 smaller rose cut diamonds positioned in between the larger stones and a rose cut diamond on the shoulders.
This superbly made ring dates from the Victorian era, and has beautiful crisp `carving` across the head of the ring; unusually, the carving continues further down the shank than we usually see, this really is a great find, and is a remarkable survivor in this condition.

Diamonds are all white, clean and bright. Appraised Colour I, Clarity Si2 /I2.

Central diamond measures approx. 5.8mm and 5.7mm in diameter and outer diamonds measure approx. 3.9mm and 3.8mm in diameter.
Diamond `points` positioned in between larger stones measure approx. 1.2mm in diameter.
Total carat weight between 1.90 and 2.0 carats.

The settings are perfect, can be worn daily (with respect), could be a perfect antique engagement ring or anniversary ring.

Head of ring measures approx. 6.3mm (width) tapering to a 2.2mm shank.
Ring weighs 4.0g.

The ring is currently size is M (UK Scale) or 6 (US Size) but can be modified free of charge in our own comprehensive workshops.

Overall a highly collectable and wearable piece of genuine antique jewellery.

CONDITION: Overall very good, with some light wear commensurate with age.
This is an antique item, making it excellent value for your money when compared to a new equivalent.
The settings are perfect condition and can be worn every day (with respect). It has been professionally cleaned in our workshop.
