Antique Edwardian 15ct Gold Cross by Alabaster & Wilson.
(CHAIN NOT INCLUDED).
It is a lovely antique cross manufactured in 15ct gold and manufactured by Alabaster & Wilson.
It dates from the early Edwardian period, dated Birmingham 1903.
Overall the cross measures 36.2mm x 20.4mm (not including bale) and 1.3mm in depth.
Bale measures 4.4mm x 3.8mm.
UK hallmarked 15ct gold. Birmingham 1903. Sponsors mark 'A & W' for Alabaster & Wilson.
Arthur Alabaster and Thomas Wilson founded their Company in 1887 in the heart of the historic Jewellery Quarter in Birmingham. Three years later they were able to build and move to their state-of-the-art factory in Legge Lane.
From the outset, highly skilled craftsmen were employed to produce a wide range of high-quality gold and diamond jewellery designed for their discerning clientele of the late 19th century.

CONDITION: Overall good, with some light wear commensurate with age.
This antique item is excellent value for your money compared to a new equivalent.
The settings are in perfect condition and can be worn every day. It has been professionally cleaned in our workshop.
