Truly Excellent Example of a Sought After Antique Edwardian 9ct Rose Gold and Natural Pearl Trace Link Guard Chain Guard Chain. English Circa 1910.

Remarkable survivor dating from the late Edwardian period, Circa 1910. Full length in excellent order, no signs of alteration or repair, and the links are still tight.

Very useful and wearable antique trace link chain that has been interspersed with 20 natural pearls and is manufactured in 9ct rose gold; it also has the original bolt ring (the spring is strong). 

Presented in truly excellent original condition, traces of the original gilding still there between the links.

A highly useful article of antique jewellery that can be worn on its own, or take a locket or pendant, fob or seal and can be wrapped around the neck twice.

Pearls measure approx. 3.0mm in diameter. 

The chain measures 55 inches in length. Equivalent to 139.7cm 
The links are 2.2mm wide. 
The chain weighs 18.63g.

The chain has a '9c' tag soldered to a link.
Dates from the late Edwardian era, Circa 1910. 
Study under magnification shows the hand drawing of the gold wire and hand soldering.

Harder and harder to find good old ones like this to show off your antique pendant or hang a locket or fob from.

CONDITION: Overall very good, with some very light wear commensurate with age.

This is a pre-loved antique item, making it excellent value for your money when compared to a new equivalent. 
It has been ever so gently cleaned in our workshop.
