Antique Edwardian Amethyst and Natural Split Pearl 15ct Gold Drop Earrings.

A lovely pair of antique earrings dating from the Late Edwardian period, circa 1900-1910.

Each earring is manufactured in 15ct gold and has a round amethyst in the centre with 8 natural split pearls around the principal stone. There are further 2 natural pearls positioned above the drop.
Amethysts are held securely in place by 8 claws whilst the pearls are set to rub over settings.
A finely made pair of earrings that are certainly unique, and perfect for special occasions; when worn they articulate beautifully.

Amethysts measure 5.1mm in diameter and 3.2mm in depth.
Pearls measure 2.4mm in diameter.

From top of wire to base 28.5mm in length, 10.8mm in width and 4.2mm in depth.

Combined weight 3.4g. They are a well made genuine antique pair that really make a statement in the ear.

Test 15ct gold.

CONDITION: Overall very good, with some very light wear commensurate with age.

This is a antique item making it excellent value for your money when compared to a new equivalent.
The settings are in good condition and can be worn every day (with respect!).
