Antique Edwardian Five Stone Sapphire and Old European Cut Diamond 18ct Gold Ring in Good Original Condition.
This superbly made ring dates from the early Edwardian era, it is manufactured in 18ct gold and has an attractive cross motif on the shoulders
It is set with 3 round sapphires positioned across the head of the ring, tapering in size from the centre. There is also an old European cut diamond positioned between the sapphires.
Gemstones are held securely in place by claws.
Sapphires are a gorgeous cornflower blue.
Diamonds all white and sparkling.
The gypsy ring design has traditionally been considered very lucky and would traditionally been given as a token of love.

Principal sapphire measures 4.4mm in diameter. Outer sapphires measure 3.3mm in diameter.

Diamonds measure 3.0mm in diameter. Combined estimated carat weight of 0.20 carats.
The settings are perfect, it can be worn daily making it the perfect engagement or anniversary/eternity ring.
Head of ring measures approx. 6.6mm (width) tapering to a 3.0mm shank.
Ring weighs 4.0g. This is a quality ring.
UK hallmarked 18ct gold. Dated Chester 1905.
