Outstanding Edwardian Antique Diamond 18ct Gold Solitaire Ring.
Classic antique ring with a large old European cut diamond mounted in 18ct gold, and was made in Birmingham 1912. This style is striking when worn as it is all about the framing of the diamond.
Principal stone is held in place by 8 claws.
Diamond is clean white, and bright. Appraised colour H/I Clarity Si1
Particularly crisp example, the settings are perfect, can be worn daily.
Principal diamond measures 4.2mm in diameter and 2.8mm in depth.
Weight; 0.30 carats, sure to make a statement on the finger.
Head of ring measures approx. 8.8mm (width) tapering to a 3.8mm shank.
UK hallmarked 18ct gold. Dated Birmingham 1912.
Ring weighs 4.9g.
The ring is currently size is R (UK Scale) or 8 5/8 (US Size) but can be modified free of charge in our own comprehensive workshops.
