Antique Georgian Bloodstone 15ct Gold Fob / Pendant. English Circa 1830

Excellent crisp example.

Unmarked as they all are of this age, it is manufactured in solid 15ct gold, not a cased one.
The fob has a octagonal cut bloodstone set into the base and has chased and carved decoration to the shoulders.

Original made to hang on the end of a gentleman's watch albert or chain , today collected in their own right, or worn as a pendant on a chain around the neck.

Weight is 5.9g

The Bloodstone measures approximately 14.5mm x 12.8mm.

Measures approx. 27.9mm x 18.3mm x 17.0mm.

Unmarked, tests 15ct gold.

This is an antique item, making it excellent value for your money when compared to a new equivalent.
The settings are in good condition and can be worn (with respect!).
It has been ever so gently cleaned in our workshop by hand, not machine polished, so retains patina.
