Antique Sapphire and Diamond Trilogy / Three Stone 18ct Gold Gypsy Ring. Excellent Example.

This lovely simple traditional ring that dates from the late Victorian era, it has a large round Ceylon sapphire in the centre with an old European cut diamond positioned either side.
Stones are mounted in a star set design.
Sapphire is a fabulous cornflower blue with flashes of a darker blue.
Diamonds are well matched, white and bright.

The gypsy ring design has traditionally been considered very lucky and would traditionally been given as a token of love.

What a perfect ring to give to someone that you love.

Getting harder and harder to find in this condition, strong and can be worn with confidence.

Sapphire measures approx. 5.4mm x 5.2mm. Estimated carat weight of approx. 0.70 carats.
Outer diamond measures approx. 2.5mm in diameter.

Head of ring measures 8.1mm tapering to 2.3mm shank
Ring weighs 6.2g. This is a good weight example.

UK hallmarked 18ct gold. Dated Birmingham 1901. Sponsors mark 'J S'.
