Excellent Antique Victorian 9ct Gold Ornate Scalloped Square Link Chain with Dog Clip Clasps.

Genuine antique chain with a lovely decorative design with ornate square links that have scalloped edges, all links are profusely hand engraved; it uses secure swivels/ dog clip clasps. 
The chain is in good condition and is a good length at 15.75 inches,(Equivalent to 40.0cm)  meaning it will go around most necks comfortably, I imagine it may have originally been a watch chain with a T-bar.

Weighs 22.4g.
A very attractive and decorative example.

The chain has a '9CT' tag soldered to a link next to the clasp, springs in both are good.

We have only ultrasonically cleaned it, not polished it so that it retains its patina.

Genuine one dating from the mid-Victorian period, circa 1880.

CONDITION: Overall good, with some very light wear commensurate with age.

This is an antique item making it excellent value for your money when compared to a new equivalent. 
The links are in good condition and can be worn every day (with respect!). It has been professionally cleaned in our workshop.
