Beautiful Antique Edwardian Graduated Diamond 18ct White Gold Articulated Line Bracelet.
This very rare find is set with 13 stunning graduated transitional cut diamonds which taper in size from the centre, in between the principal diamonds, a pair of old '8' cut diamonds, grain set, to accent the main stones.
The superb bracelet is manufactured in 18ct gold with platinum settings, all sections are articulated and the diamonds are held securely in place by claws.
Dates from the late Edwardian period; circa 1910 - 1920.
They are fine white and clean diamonds, estimated H-J colour Si clarity - it's truly a lovely antique jewel.
Presented in excellent condition, has been treasured and shows little sign of wear.
Beautifully manufactured, hand-soldered articulated sections, all in perfect condition.
Truly a lovely quality antique bracelet.
Very few are left like this in this condition, looks like it spent most of its life in a box; a remarkable survivor, it has remained in one family for several generations, offered to the market for the first time in over 50 years, it is sure to become an heirloom.
The principal diamond measures 6.45mm in diameter. Has an estimated carat weight of 1.08 carats.
The smallest diamond measures 3.81mm in diameter.
Diamonds have a combined carat weight of between 7.60 carats to 8.0 carats; a real statement line bracelet.
Old '8' cut diamonds vary in size, the largest measures approx. 1.7mm in diameter and the smallest measures 1.1mm in diameter.
Dimensions - Approx. 17.8cm in length (7 inches), the bracelet sections are sprung and expand another couple of centimetres.
The top is approximately 7.3mm wide, tapering to 4.6mm at the back.
The total weight is 14.0g.
