A good quality antique locket manufactured in 9ct yellow gold. 
The centre of the locket has a large  modern brilliant cut diamond within a star shaped setting; whilst the reverse of the locket is plain.
The diamond is a symbol of love and literally means that “You are the star in my life”. It opens to reveal an area to put photographs in. A perfect gift.

The excellent gauge of gold used was made before the accountants worried about the costs!

The diamond measures 3.3mm in diameter. Diamond weighs approx. 0.13 carats.
The locket measures 30.0mm x 23.7mm and 8.1mm in depth (not including bale). 
The pendant bale measures approx. 7.7mm in diameter.

Nice weight of 10.7g, the locket uses an excellent gauge of gold. 

The inside frames are all present, hinge is perfect.

UK hallmarked 9ct gold. Dated Birmingham 1989. Sponsors mark 'C. G & S' for Charles Green & Sons, a well known British quality jewellery manufacturer.

Overall a very attractive, useful and wearable piece of jewellery. 

CONDITION: Overall very, very  good, with some very light wear commensurate with age.

This is a vintage item, making it excellent value for your money when compared to a new equivalent. 
The settings are perfect condition and can be worn every day. It has been professionally cleaned in our workshop.
