Superb Vintage Georgian Style Carnelian 9ct Gold Oval Signet Ring.

This very well made ring has a oval shaped carnelian in the centre which is set to a rubover setting. Unusually, there is a ribbed design on the shoulders of the ring. 

Manufactured in 9ct gold.  

Carnelian measures approx. 24.7mm x 17.8mm and 2.6mm in depth. 

Head of the ring measures approx. 26.8mm x 20.1mm and 7.3mm in depth. 
Shank measures 3.2mm in width. 

Ring weighs 10.5g. This is a quality ring.

UK hallmarked 9ct gold. Dated London 1973. Sponsors mark 'P L S'.

The ring size is currently U 1/2 (UK Scale) or 10 1/2 (US Size) but can be modified a few sizes either way free of charge in our own comprehensive workshops.

Overall a wearable piece of genuine preloved vintage jewellery in excellent condition at a fraction of the cost of a modern one.

CONDITION: Overall very good, with some light wear commensurate with age.
