Beautiful Vintage Garnet 9ct Gold Pendant/Brooch and 9ct Prince of Wales Chain.
This lovely bracelet resembles those made during the Georgian era, but dating from the 1960`s, is incredibly well made, from an era where quality was put over the price of the gold, so it's very well made and solid, weighing in at a hefty 25.7g all in.
It is manufactured in 9ct gold and consists of 9 oval section links. Each link has a large oval garnet in the centre with 12 cultured split pearls surrounding the centre stone. Garnets are held securely in place by claws whilst the pearls are grain set.
Garnets are well matched, whilst the pearls are a good even colour.
All sections of the bracelet are articulated, and the bracelet uses a tongue and box clasp.
Garnet is the birthstone for January and the stone that celebrates the 2nd anniversary of marriage.
Garnets measure approx. 9.0mm x 7.1mm and 4.0mm in depth. Total combined carat weight approx. 17.91 carats.
Pearls measure approx. 3.0mm in diameter.
Approx. 17.78cm in length (7 inches) and approx. 14.9mm in width.
Weight 25.7g
Unmarked, tests 9ct gold.
Links are tight from very little wear.
