Outstanding Pre-loved Vintage Smoky Quartz 9ct Gold Dress Ring. Bigger & Better Than Most We See.
Very much the vintage `dress ring` style which is becoming so sought after today.
A fantastic statement ring mounted in 9ct yellow gold has a large emerald cut (rectangular) smoky quartz in the centre, which is held in place by 4 claws. The ring has an attractive motif engraved around the gallery. A ring that is retro-personified!
Cairngorms originate from pieces being sold to travellers who flocked to the Cairngorms to discover the beauty and serenity of the Scottish mountains after Queen Victoria made them popular tourist destinations.
Gemstone measures approx. 24.9mm x 18.0mm and 11.2mm in depth. Calculated carat weight of 33.26 Carats!
The head of the ring measures 26.1mm x 19.2mm and 14.1mm in depth.
Good weight at 12.0g.
The ring size is M (UK Scale) equivalent to 6 in US size, but can be modified free of charge in our comprehensive workshops.
UK hallmarked '375' for 9ct. Dated London 1972.
Overall a highly collectable and wearable piece of genuine period cocktail/ dress ring jewellery.
CONDITION: Overall very good, with some very light wear commensurate with age.
This is a vintage item, making it excellent value for your money when compared to a new equivalent.
The settings are in good condition and can be worn every day (with respect!). It has been professionally cleaned in our workshop.
