Vintage 40 Inch Single Row Cultured Pearl Necklace with Sapphire 9ct Gold Clasp.

A fabulous 40 inch single strand of cultured pearl necklace in the art deco 1920's flapper style. The necklace uses a 9ct gold tongue and box clasp closure which resembles a flower, the centre of the clasp is set with vivid blue sapphire which is held securely in place by 6 claws.
The cultured pearls are well matched and a good even colour.

Pearls are a uniform size, measure between 7.0mm to 7.4mm in diameter.
40 inches in length. Equivalent to 101.6cm.
