Vintage Victorian Style Garnet Five Stone 9ct Gold Ring
This lovely traditional ring resembles those made during the Victorian era, this one a recreation dating from the 1970's.
The ring is manufactured in 9ct gold and has 5 tapered oval garnets across the head of the ring, it also has an attractive pierced gallery.
Gemstones are securely held in place by claws.
Garnet is the birthstone for January and the stone that celebrates the 2nd anniversary of marriage.
Garnets vary in size, principal stone measures 7.4mm x 5.3mm and outer garnets measure 2.9mm x 2.6mm.
Head of ring measures 9.1mm tapering to 2.3mm shank
Ring weighs 3.3g. This is a good weight example.
UK hallmarked 9ct gold. Dated Birmingham 1979.
The ring size is currently N (UK Scale) or 6 1/2 (US Size)
