Outstanding Vintage Amethyst and Diamond 18ct Gold Art Deco Ring.
Genuine 1950`s cocktail ring, manufactured in Pure 1020’s Deco style,
A fantastic Deco ring mounted in 18ct yellow gold has a large emerald cut amethyst in the centre with 8 rose cut diamonds positioned on the shoulders. Diamonds are set in white gold 1tablets`.
It is so typical of the Art Deco period in its geometric form, the shank is 18ct yellow gold, and there are 2 accents on the shoulders manufactured in 18ct rose rose gold. Diamond shoulders are `stepped` in the Deco style.
Beautiful clear stone, free of scratches or inclusions; the amethyst has been tested on a refractometer and is a natural amethyst.
This is a large ring, the natural amethyst measures approx. 11.1mm x 9.2mm. Weighs a whopping 4.60 carats.
Rose cut diamonds measure 2.1mm in diameter.
Head of ring measures 12.6mm tapering to 4.1mm shank
