Antique 15ct Gold Bar Brooch / Cravat Pin. English Circa 1910's
A fabulous piece of antique jewellery, manufactured in solid yellow and white gold.
The brooch is handmade and depicts a riding crop or cane
The handle of the crop is beautifully chased
These handmade miniature works of art need to be studied, and you need to know the manufacturing process to fully appreciate their character. A modern one would be cast in one piece, having little `definition` left after the casting process.
The dimensions are 45.8mm x 10.9mm and 7.00mm in depth.
Nice weight example, it weighs 4.20g.
Engraved '15ct'
Dates from the late Edwardian period, circa 1910.
A beautiful piece of antique jewellery will look stunning against a blouse, tie, or cravat.
CONDITION: Overall excellent, with some very light wear commensurate with age.
This is an antique item, making it excellent value for your money when compared to a new equivalent.
The settings are in good condition and can be worn every day (with respect!).
