Outstanding Antique 15ct Gold Etruscan Revival Bangle. Circa 1870. Natural Split Pearls. Hinged.

This is an immaculate survivor.

Manufactured in the late 19th century in 15ct gold. This ornate bangle features rows of natural split pearls in their original settings and gold bead finials, to a plain gold back with hidden clasp and safety chain.

The box and tongue clasp snap shut beautifully and it retains the majority of its original factory mercury gilding. 

These antique, handmade pieces need to be studied under magnification to appreciate the skill in manufacturing and setting.
