Superb Antique 15ct Gold Natural Split pearl Hinged Bangle C.1900. Original Case. Just Perfect.

Truly Beautiful Antique 15ct Gold and Natural Split Pearl Hinge Bangle.

This Bangle is manufactured in solid 15ct yellow gold and is set with 33 pearls across the top side.

The bangle is in excellent condition. It uses a push-release tongue and box clasp and is hinged. The hinge is tight, and everything operates as it should.

Pearls measure approximately 2.6mm in diameter.
Internal dimensions approx. 49.2mm x 57.4mm (but it's hinged, so it will fit most wrists)
3.4mm in width
 

Extraordinary to have survived in this condition, its original fitted case has kept the bangle in fine order.

This is a very solid bangle, weighing in at  21.6g, 

Unmarked, tests 15ct gold. 

15ct gold was only a legal standard of gold in British jewellery between 1854 and 1931. This means that any piece of 15ct antique gold jewellery from Britain dates somewhere between 1854 and 1931 and you have a genuine piece of antique or vintage jewellery.
