Antique 9ct Gold and Bloodstone & Sardonyx Spinner Fob. C.1900 Fabulous Engraving.

A beautiful example of a spinning fob/seal.

Originally designed to hang on the end of a gentlemen's watch chain, now mainly worn as a pendant or collected in their own right.

This one has a magnificent seal engraved coat of arms to one face. 

Sardonyx is a banded variety of chalcedony that combines alternating layers of reddish-brown sard and white onyx.

Bloodstone—also known as heliotrope or blood jasper—is a dark green mineral aggregate with red flecks.

Weight 7.7g

Dimensions 31.1mm high (excluding top ring) 23mm wide.

Stamped '9 .375' for 9ct gold.

Condition is very good, a couple of `nibbles` to the edge of the bloodstone.
