Antique 9ct Rose Gold Art Nouveau 'Arts and Crafts' Peridot Pendant. English Circa 1905

A very attractive example of a beautifully flowing, arts and crafts movement pendant, very much in the style of Liberty's and Archibald Knox.

The Arts and Crafts movement was a late‑19th‑ to early‑20th‑century international design and social reform movement (c. 1880–1920), led by figures such as William Morris and John Ruskin, advocating traditional craftsmanship, honest materials, and resistance to industrial mass production. The movement shaped modern design by promoting simplicity, functional beauty, and ethical production.

Most we see are  set with amethyst, this more unusually set with striking green peridot.

Presented in excellent order, central peridot measures approximately 7mm in diameter, the drop peridot measuring approximately 5.5mm in diameter.

Overall dimensions 42mm (from the top of the pendant loop to the bottom of the drop) x 28mm wide.
