Antique Art-Deco 15ct Gold & Platinum Old European Cut Diamond and Natural Opal Bar Brooch. English Circa 1910/1920

Beautifully made knife-edge bar brooch.

The old European cut diamond is approximately 0.4ct and is a rub-over set finished with a mille-grain edge. A lovely clean white natural diamond, appraised H/I colour Si/vs clarity

The two natural cabochon opals are very pretty with flashes of green and blue, and also mille-grain set.

51mm in length and 5.1mm wide.

This is indicative of the post-Edwardian Art Deco era, circa 1910-1920

Made from 15ct gold, (only a gold standard in the U.K until 1932) and is fronted with a platinum `knife edge`

Presented in excellent condition, the pin is strong and secure, with a lever safety catch.
