Antique 9ct Rose Engine Turned `Slave` Bangle.
Originally made to be worn in the `Flapper Style` of the 1920s on the upper arm, when people were smaller than today, now fits a broader wrist well.
The bangle is manufactured in 9ct rose gold with a hollow centre.
Engine turned 'wave' design, which is very traditional of 1920s art deco jewellery.
The bangle can be worn loose around the wrist or as an upper arm bangle.
Dates from the Art Deco period of the Twenties, hallmarked 1924.
CONDITION: Generally in good order, under scrutiny, there is the lightest blemish in one small area - it is 100 years old!
Truly a lovely quality antique bangle.
Dimensions - measures approximately. 76.5mm internal diameter.
Measures approx. 7.7mm in width.
Total weight is 12.5g.
UK hallmarked 9ct gold. Dated Birmingham 1924. Sponsors mark 'A. J'.
