Beautiful Antique Art Nouveau Turquoise Fuchsia Design 15ct Gold Bracelet
This very rare and lovely jewel dates from the art nouveau era, circa 1900-1910; and is in beautiful condition.
This unusual bracelet is manufactured in 15ct gold and is a lovely warm colour, it has a series of stylised fuchsia flower design links joined by turquoise set sections.
The bracelet has an integral clasp and a safety chain attached
The fuchsia is said to represent the good taste and confiding love in the 'language of flowers'
Beautifully manufactured, articulated sections, all in perfect condition.
Truly a lovely quality antique bracelet.
Very few are left like this in this condition.
Turquoise measures approx. 2.5mm in diameter.
Dimensions - Approx. 19.6cm in length (7.75 inches).
The bracelet measures approx. 11.1mm in width.
The total weight is 13.6g.
Stamped '15'. 15ct gold was only a legal standard of gold in British jewellery between 1854 and 1931. This means that any piece of 15ct antique gold jewellery from Britain dates somewhere between 1854 and 1931 and you have a genuine piece of antique or vintage jewellery.
There is also a Registered design number stamped on the clasp.
CONDITION: Overall good, a few light marks, but this is an antique item.
