Beautiful Quality Antique Colombian Emerald and Old European Cut Diamond Carved 18ct Gold Trilogy Ring.
This superbly made ring dates from the late Victorian to early Edwardian era, with beautiful crisp `carving` .
They are just not out there in this sort of condition anymore.
Manufactured in 18ct yellow gold; there is a very fine emerald in the centre with a large old European cut diamonds positioned either side.
There are also 4 small rose cut diamonds positioned between the principal stones and one on each f the shoulders.
Emerald is a fantastic saturated green and is of Colombian origin.
Diamonds are very large, clean, white, and bright.
The stones are all original, no replacements, a remarkable survivor.
The emerald have been independently assessed as being a natural emerald that originates from Colombia - everything you want. The ring will be sent with the gemmological report.
Emerald measures 5.38mm x 5.1 and 2.89mm in depth. Carat weight of 0.58 carats.
Diamond measures 5.1mm in diameter.
Diamonds have estimated combined carat weight of 1.10 carats.
The carved sides show no signs of wear, settings are perfect, can be worn daily making it the perfect engagement or anniversary ring.
Head of ring measures approx. 6.0mm (width) tapering to a 1.8mm shank.
Ring weighs 2.6g. This is a quality ring.
UK hallmarked 18ct gold. Dated Birmingham 1899. Sponsors mark 'D. D & S'.
The ring size is currently Q 1/2 (UK Scale) or 8 1/4 (US Size) but can be modified free of charge in our own comprehensive workshops.
Overall, a highly collectable and wearable piece of genuine antique jewellery.
CONDITION: Overall very good, with some light wear commensurate with age.
This is an antique item, making it excellent value for your money when compared to a new equivalent.
The settings are perfect condition and can be worn every day (with respect). It has been professionally cleaned in our workshop.
