Genuine antique chain with a lovely decorative design with an ornate fetter link design consisting of long links and trace links in between; and it uses a secure bolt ring clasp
The chain is in good condition and is a good length at 20.5 inches,(Equivalent to 52.0cm), meaning it will go round most necks comfortably.
Weighs 14.7g; a very solid chain, that uses an excellent gauge of gold.
Each and every link stamped '15 .625'
15ct gold was only a legal standard of gold in British jewellery between 1854 and 1931. This means that any piece of 15ct antique gold jewellery from Britain dates somewhere between 1854 and 1931 and you have a genuine piece of antique or vintage jewellery.
No sign of any repairs.
We have only ultrasonically cleaned it, not polished it, so that it retains its patina.
