Exceptionally Pretty Antique Edwardian 15ct Gold & Platinum Grapes Pendant Set with Natural Pearls

A great quality antique pendant manufactured in platinum and 15ct gold.
The charming and unusual pendant represents a bunch of grapes with two vine leaves above; the vine leaves are manufactured in platinum whilst the bale, branches and the reverse are manufactured in 15ct gold.
The grapes are different coloured natural pearls (25 in total) that are very life like, the vines and stem/branches are beautifully hand engraved/chased for added definition.
Grapes can symbolise joy, fertility, abundance, patience and merriment. What a great gift to someone that you love.
Under magnification it shows the hand soldering; these miniature works of art need to be studied and you need to know the manufacturing process to fully appreciate their character.
15ct gold was only a legal standard of gold in British jewellery between 1854 and 1931. This means that any piece of 15ct antique gold jewellery from Britain dates somewhere between 1854 and 1931 and you have a genuine piece of antique or vintage jewellery.
Pearls vary in size, largest measures approx. 4.0mm in diameter and the smallest measures 3.2mm in diameter.
Pendant measures 29.3mm x 20.5mm and 7.7mm in depth.
Bale measures 5.1mm x 3.5mm.

Engraved 'Plat 15ct'.
Dates from the early Edwardian period; circa 1900-1910.
CONDITION: Overall very good, with some very, very light wear commensurate with age.
