Antique Edwardian High Carat Gem Set Artist's Palette Charm / Pendant. 
Genuine antique example with `Old Cut` gems.

Of traditional manufacture, this pretty antique high carat gold charm was made circa 1900/1910. The charm is shaped as an artist's palette with two brushes and is set with a sapphire, a ruby, an old '8' cut diamond, a turquoise and an emerald to represent the coloured paints; the charm is fully crafted in high carat gold. 
Dates from the mid Edwardian period, circa 1900 - 1910.

Great addition for any serious charm collector.

Sapphire measures 2.0mm in diameter.
Ruby measures 2.2mm in diameter. 
Diamond measures 2.1mm in diameter. 
Turquoise measures 2.0mm in diameter. 
Emerald measures 2.0mm in diameter. 

Charm measures 22.2mm x 12.4mm (not including bale) and 2.7mm in depth. 
Bale measures approx. 3.9mm.

Charm weighs 2.3g. 

Unmarked, tests high carat gold - in excellent condition with the original mercury gilding still present.

CONDITION: Overall very good, with some light wear commensurate with age.
