Antique Edwardian Shield 9ct Rose Gold Pendant. (Chain NOT Included. )
A gorgeous shield pendant that dates from the late Edwardian period, circa 1920's.
A good quality jewel manufactured in 9ct rose gold; the centre of the pendant has a plain shield to the front which is surrounded by a hand engraved scroll motif. The reverse is engraved 'Awarded Best Cultivated & Neatest Plot 1924' - what a wonderful inscription and piece of history! Also, there is a blank scroll design across the top and sides of the pendant, arranged in a shield design.
Overall dimensions are 41.1mm x 23.9mm and 2.5mm in depth.

UK hallmarked 9ct gold. Dated Chester 1920. Sponsors mark 'T J S'.
CONDITION: Overall very good, with some very light wear commensurate with age.
This is an antique item making it excellent value for your money when compared to a new equivalent. The settings are in good condition and can be worn every day (with respect).
