Antique Victorian Old Cut Diamonds and 15ct Gold Dog Brooch. Superb Quality.


These miniature works of art need to be studied, and you need to know the manufacturing process to fully appreciate their character.

This rare little brooch is handmade, the brooch depicts a dog with 2 small old cut diamonds to resemble the eyes, it is hand engraved/chased for added definition.
I've been in this trade a long time, this may be the finest example I have seen.

Dogs in jewellery are considered to represent loyalty. A must for any dog lovers!

Brooch is manufactured and engraved '15ct' for 15ct gold.
15ct is rare today, no longer made and a sign of quality and authenticity.


Diamonds measures approx. 1.5mm in diameter.
Brooch measures approx. 34.0mm in length and 11.6mm in width and 6.6mm in depth.
Weight 9.6g
Its a small brooch, but heavy gauge and well made.

Its been a tricky item to photograph, he has a lovely face, its definitely an item that's better in the flesh than on the screen!

CONDITION: Excellent, near mint, as good as it gets.
