Antique Old European Cut Diamond Marquise Cluster 18ct Gold Ring

Beautiful Quality Antique Diamond Marquise / Navette Shape Cluster 18ct Gold Ring. 3 Carat Diamond Ring.

This superbly made ring dates from the Victorian era, circa 1890. 

Manufactured in 18ct gold, whilst the settings of the ring is silver; this was the normal practice at this period, it predates the use of platinum and white gold settings.
It has a large old mine cut diamond in the centre and 20 tapering old mine cut diamonds surrounding the principal stone creating a marquise/navette cluster. 
Diamonds are claw set; and are  clean, white and sparkling.
It really makes a statement on the finger.

Principal diamond measures 4.5mm in diameter and is estimated to weigh 0.37 carats. 
Outer diamonds vary in size, largest measures approx. 4.0mm and smallest approx. 2.7mm in diameter. 
Diamonds have combined carat weight of approx. 3.0 carats.

Has been through our workshop, cleaned, the settings have been settings and are perfect, can be worn daily, could be a perfect antique engagement ring or anniversary ring.

One of the largest I have seen, the head of ring measures approx. 28.7mm x 12.2mm and 4.4mm in depth.
Shank measures 2.1mm in width. 

Weight 3.5g. This is a quality ring.

The ring size is currently R 1/2 (UK Scale) or 8 7/8 (US Size) but can be modified free of charge in our own comprehensive workshops.

Overall a highly collectable and wearable piece of genuine antique jewellery.

CONDITION: Overall very good, with some light wear commensurate with age.
This is a antique item, making it excellent value for your money when compared to a new equivalent. 
The settings are perfect condition and can be worn every day (with respect). It has been professionally cleaned in our workshop.
