Superb Antique Solid Silver Mother of Pearl Fruit Set. Sheffield 1880 Richard Martin & Ebenezer Hall. Boxed.

An outstanding full set of antique fruit knives and forks in an original handmade wooden box.

What a find, and in such amazing condition, believed to be unused.

The blades, tines, and butts are made from solid hallmarked sterling silver, and the handles are mother-of-pearl. 

Each root and blade is masterfully hand-engraved with floral decoration. 

The box is handmade from mahogany with brass fittings, and the lining is hand-stitched velvet. (One tab to the lift-out tray unattached)

A truly unique and rare find. 

Knife length: 195 mm, forks 162mm.

Each blade and butt are hallmarked Sheffield 1880.

Maker's marks for Richard Martin & Ebenezer Hall.

Gross weight: 500 grams.
