Antique Victorian 18ct Gold Buckle Ring, That Really Has Survived in Superb Condition.
This lovely 18ct gold buckle ring dates from the Victorian era, it was made in London 1880. It would have originally been given as a commitment ring as the literal meaning is “You are bound to me”. It signifies fidelity in love and loyalty in friendship, so what a wonderful ring to give to someone that you love.
It is a practical and stylish ring that can be worn every day.
Head of ring measures 10.0mm tapering to 7.5mm shank, and 3.8mm in depth.
Ring weighs 9.4g. This is a superbly made ring.
UK hallmarked 18ct gold. Dated London 1880.
The ring size is currently N (UK Scale) or 6 1/2 (US Size) but can be modified a couple of sizes either way free of charge in our own comprehensive workshops (please contact us with your size to confirm before purchasing please).
Overall a highly collectable and wearable piece of genuine antique jewellery, a timeless style which will never go out of fashion, a quality item that will last a lifetime.
CONDITION: Overall very good, with some light wear commensurate with age.
