Antique Late Georgian/ early Victorian Gold Chalcedony Engraved Fob Circa 1850.
Manufactured in 9ct gold, the fob has a reverse-engraved family crest of a crown and swan above a shield. The quality of the engraving into a hard stone is truly exceptional.
Originally made to hang on the end of a gentleman's watch albert or chain, today collected in their own right, or worn as a pendant on a chain around the neck.
