Antique Victorian Blue Enamel Puffy Heart Shaped Gold Pendant set with a Natural Split Pearl.

A great quality antique `puffy heart` pendant manufactured in 9ct gold. 

The front of the pendant has been enamelled in Royal Blue translucent enamel and set with a natural split pearl within a floral setting. 

On the reverse is a heart-shaped glazed locket.

What a beautiful Valentine’s gift that is as appropriate now as it was over 120 years ago.

The enamel is in good condition considering its age, no chips, an odd `abrasion` under magnification, its a very attractive and collectible antique jewel.

The heart measures 19.4mm x 13.7mm (not including bale) and 9.9mm in depth.
Bale measures 5.0mm in length.

Weight 3.2g.
The pearl measures 2.7mm in diameter.
Unmarked, tests 9ct gold. 

Dates from the mid-Victorian period; circa 1860 - 1880

CONDITION: Overall very good, with some very, very light wear commensurate with age.
