Antique Victorian Natural Split Pearl and Ruby 15ct Gold 5 Stone Ring.
This lovely simple traditional ring dates from the mid-Victorian era, hallmarked in 1878, and is crafted in 15ct gold.
It is set with 3 natural split pearls positioned across the head of the ring, tapering in size from the centre. There are also round rubies positioned between the pearls.
The gemstones have been set within square settings.
This style of ring can be worn on its own or stacked with other rings.
Getting harder and harder to find in this condition.
Principal pearl measures approx. 3.8mm in diameter
Outer pearls measure 2.3mm in diameter.
Rubies measure approx. 2.6mm in diameter.
Head of ring measures 5.0mm tapering to 2.4mm shank
Ring weighs 2.1g.
UK hallmarked 15ct gold. Dated Birmingham 1878. Sponsors mark 'J M'.
The ring size is currently Q (UK Scale) or 8 (US Size) but can be modified a couple of sizes free of charge in our own comprehensive workshops (please contact us with your size to confirm before purchasing please).
