Antique Victorian Sapphire, Diamond and Pearl 18ct Gold Cluster Ring

Beautiful Antique Sapphire, Diamond and Pearl 18ct Gold Cluster Ring.

This nicely made ring dates from the late Victorian era, dated 1897. All genuine natural gemstones.

The attractive ring is manufactured in 18ct gold, it has a very pretty natural royal blue oval cut sapphire in the centre with 8 old European cut diamonds arrange around the centre stone. It is also set with a natural pearl either side of the sapphire, and has an old European cut diamond mounted on the shoulders.
It is beautifully made with well modelled flared shoulders.
The diamonds are eye clean, white, and bright; whilst the sapphire is an intense royal blue, and the pearls are a good even colour. 

The principal sapphire measures 4.5mm x 4.00mm and 3.0mm.
Diamonds measure 1.5mm in diameter.
Pearls measure 2.6mm in diameter.

The head of the ring measures approx. 7.8mm in width, tapering to a 1.7mm shank, and 4.0mm in depth - it really makes a statement on the finger.

Weight 2.6g. 

UK hallmarked 18ct gold. Dated Birmingham 1897. 
 
The ring size is currently N (UK Scale) or 6 1/2 (US Size) but can be modified free of charge a couple of sizes in our own comprehensive workshops.

Overall a highly collectible and wearable piece of genuine antique jewellery.

CONDITION: Overall very good, with some light wear commensurate with age.
This is an antique item, making it excellent value for your money compared to a new equivalent. 
The settings are in good condition and can be worn every day (with respect). It has been professionally cleaned in our workshop.
