Truly Excellent Large Antique Victorian Silver Locket.
This very striking Victorian silver locket is very collectable, useful and wearable. It is manufactured in sterling silver with a raised cross hatch / 'X' (Kiss) design down the centre with a bold band with a rope work design and hand engraved scalloped motif either side.
Inside are the two original frames so that you can put photographs in. We have kept the original interior photos, they can be removed if the new custodian wishes, just let us know.
Presented in truly excellent original condition, no wear to the top ring, hinge still good and tight, locket 'snaps' closed as it should. A highly useful article of antique jewellery.
Locket measures 48.9mm x 35.2mm and 12.3mm in depth. Bale measures 11.0mm.

Genuine nice old one, study under magnification shows the hand soldering and hand engraving, not machine manufactured.
Harder and harder to find good old ones like this.
CONDITION: Overall very good, with some very light wear commensurate with age.
This is a pre-loved antique item, making it excellent value for your money when compared to a new equivalent. The settings are in good condition and can be worn. It has been ever so gently cleaned in our workshop.
