Beautiful Antique Ruby and Diamond 18ct Gold and Platinum Trilogy Crossover Ring.
This nicely made ring dates from the late Edwardian era, Circa 1920.
Manufactured in 18ct gold and platinum, the shank is 18ct yellow gold and the settings are in platinum. It is composed of a ruby in the centre with a transitional cut diamond either side in a 'ribbed' crossover style band; the design still has an Art Nouveau feel about it. It would make a very pretty engagement ring. The diamonds are eye clean, white, and bright; whilst the ruby is a gorgeous red with flashes of pink.
Ruby measures 4.4mm in diameter. Diamonds measure 2.8mm in diameter.
The head of the ring measures approx. 8.8mm in width tapering to a 2.2mm wide shank - it really makes a statement on the finger.
Weight 3.3g.
Stamped '18ct'. Stamped 'H W Ld'.
The ring size is currently F 1/2 (UK Scale) or 3 1/8 (US Size) but can be modified free of charge in our own comprehensive workshops.
Overall a highly collectible and wearable piece of genuine antique jewellery.
CONDITION: Overall very good, with some light wear commensurate with age. This is an antique item, making it excellent value for your money compared to a new equivalent. The settings are in good condition and can be worn every day (with respect). It has been professionally cleaned in our workshop.
