Vintage Emerald and Diamond Platinum Oval Cluster Ring.
This nice quality ring has a good green emerald in the centre, a cluster of white bright modern brilliant cut diamonds surrounding it (12 in total) and a further 6 on the shoulders.
Very much in the art deco /Edwardian style, but probably made as a quality reproduction in the 1980`s
The ring is made in platinum and the gemstones are `rubover` set, so its nice and low on the finger, secure, and nothing to catch or snag.
Diamonds are white and bright, emerald is a lovely green, Under magnification or scrutiny, there is some light rubbing/abrasion to the emerald, it is a vintage ring! - it does not detract, I mention it for completion.
Emerald measures approximately 6mm x 4mm.
Smallest diamonds measure approx. 1.5mm in diameter and largest diamonds measure approximately 2.4mm in diameter.
Overall dimensions of the cluster measures approximately 12.1mm x 9.3mm.
Shank is approximately 1.9mm wide.
Weight 3.7g
The ring size is N 1/2(UK Scale) or 6 3/4 (US Size) but can be modified free of charge in our own comprehensive workshops.
The ring is stamped `PLAT` for platinum.
CONDITION: Overall very good, with some very light wear commensurate with age.
This is a vintage item, making it excellent value for your money when compared to a new equivalent.
The settings are in good condition and can be worn every day. It has been professionally cleaned in our workshop.
